You would be crazy to not book this place on your trip to St. John. The place is absolutely spotless with a beautiful view, surrounded by privacy of trees, and a beautiful pool that faces and unbelievable view of the bay. You literally have a large bedroom to yourself that basically seems like you have your own apartment with extra seating, your own ceiling fan, your own air conditioner and a huge bathroom with a beautiful outdoor shower. You cannot hear any others throughout the Villa so it’s incredibly private if you desire that alone time. There is seating outside of your room if you desire to listen to the beautiful night time noises in the surrounding forest. The main kitchen and living room area is spectacular and allows for an awesome cooking experience if you desire. I am definitely hoping to book this place again in the near future. And don’t forget to check out the Lime Out bar on the other side of the island— Best experience ever to enjoy a glass-bottom kayak to check out the ocean wildlife, but then enjoy some tacos and drinks under the Virgin Islands son.

Villa Sunset Cruz could best be described as the"Villa to visit when you truly need a vacation!" This is obviously a home that is loved and perfectly maintained. Big details like an awesome mattress also enhanced our stay.
I do have to admit that my favorite moments were spent in the outdoor shower....with a direct view of the legendary Great Cruz Bay sunset....and enjoying a homemade Painkiller--the official drink of the Island.

My sisters and I stayed at Villa Sunset Cruz for a couple of nights. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed for fun, and R & R. The pool and bar area are great for hanging out and the house has the perfect view. It was clean and neat, and I would stay at this house everytime I visit the island.

This house is beautiful, and everything you could possibly expect from an upscale villa. The check in process was a breeze. And James was very friendly and helpful (we had one small issue with a lock and both James and a maintenance came within the hour to fix it). I honestly believe these owners thought of everything you could possibly need for a stay on St. John. Beach chairs, cooler, extra sunscreen, some food and drinks in the fridge. Highly recommended!
This is a wonderful place to stay. Three bed/three 1/2 baths. Clean, well maintained, comfortable, everything you need including the AMAZING view and the salt water pool. We were there during the full moon and the view was spectacular. I would definitely stay there again.
Other bonuses, there are solar panels on the roof, and the WiFi is excellent. They also have satellite TV if you want to tear yourself away from the view.
The kitchen is terrific and includes a Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker as well as a Keurig. We used the grill on the patio off the kitchen. There's another grill and bar area on the pool level.
The location is interesting. It's not far from Cruz Bay - you can see the house from the entrance to the Westin - but you have to drive around/up Rte 104 to the entrance of the estate and then partway back down the hill. Again, it's not that far and you have some good switchbacks to negotiate as well as spectacular views. It's completely worth the drive!!!
I can't thank the owners and the property manager enough for having such a wonderful property available for rent.

Just spent a beautiful week at Sunset Cruz and didn't want to leave! The house is completely equipped with everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet except for the serenade of the coqui tree frogs at night. The views of Great Cruz Bay and beyond are wonderful and the sunsets will not disappoint.
